Necessary Fictions

These paintings sit inside the tension between what we experience and what we allow ourselves to know. Figures rendered with care in some passages, and left deliberately unresolved in others, mirroring the way personal mythologies form and reform. The negative space is where uncertainty lives, where the self is still being revised.
