Commissions

I occasionally accept a limited number of commissioned works rooted in memory, atmosphere, and personal significance. These paintings are approached as extensions of my larger studio practice — less concerned with documentation than with emotional presence, perception, and the shifting nature of recollection.

How It Works

1. Send Your Photo
Email your favorite high-resolution photo to shannon@shannonsoldner.com. Photos taken in natural light work best. Not sure if your photo will work? Send it anyway – I'll let you know!

2. Approval & Payment
I'll confirm your photo works well for the gold leaf process and send an invoice. A 50% deposit reserves your spot, with the balance due at pickup/delivery.

3. Creation
Over the next 6 weeks, I'll hand-craft your portrait using traditional techniques and genuine gold, copper, or silver leaf.

4. Delivery
Shipping included.
